The trailer caster adapter accessory (TCA) supplied consists of the following parts:
The caster is supplied by the user and is purchased to match the user’s trailer height from a caster supply store such as Northern Tool, Ace Hardware, etc.
Tool needed: 9/16″ wrench (socket, box, etc.)
STEP 1 Securely place the trailer tongue on a support, such as a ramp, step stool or jack. Disassemble the hardware and group it on the tongue or ramp as shown to the right.
STEP 2 Insert a carriage bolt up through the slot in the swivel caster plate, then into a slot of the TCA base plate, followed by a 3/8″ fender washer, a 3/8″ split washer and thread on the 3/8″ hex nut. Repeat three times. Slide the assembly onto the tongue as illustrated below.
STEP 3 (Locate assembly close to the end of the tongue and not close to the body of the trailer. See caution section.) Using 9/16″ wrench, tighten hex nuts evenly and securely.
THE TCA IS READY TO ROLL AND PERFORM A WIDE VARIETY OF TASKS.
A FLOATING HITCHING SYSTEM MUST BE USED IF A SWIVEL CASTER IS MOUNTED ON THE TONGUE OF A TRAILER. IF NOT, THE CASTER WHEEL MAY BE DAMAGED WHEN GOING OVER AN OBSTACLE SUCH AS A LOW CURB, AND RUTS MAY BE MADE IN THE LAWN.
THE SWIVEL CASTER MUST BE LOCATED SO THAT THE THREE-WHEEL TRAILER TRANSPORT IS STABLE. SLIDE CASTER ASSEMBLY TOWARD THE END OF THE TONGUE UNTIL IT IS STABLE.
OBSTACLES MUST BE LESS THAN HALF THE DIAMETER OF THE CASTER WHEEL AND ALIGNED PERPENDICULAR TO THE WHEEL.

The first lot of the TCA is for BETA testing, has no guarantee, and all sales are final.
